Senior cheers on football team in victory over McKinney

With hands lifted high, senior Hunter Sheffield does not hold back his cheers at the Eagles’ matchup against McKinney High Friday, Sept. 20. Although there was a light rain shower late in the third quarter, the student section broke out to sing “Sweet Caroline” together. Prosper came out on top with a win over the Lions 49-14. “My favorite moments of Friday Night Lights are the memories,” Sheffield said. “I always tend to meet new people at the game and always establish a friendship, or get to know them better when it’s under the lights.”

Senior Ana Arredondo is the Editor-in-Chief of Eagle Nation Online, the student publication of Prosper High School. She is a part of the yearbook and newspaper staff on campus, competes on the UIL Journalism team, and is also a member of the student council. She has received several recognitions and awards for her writing, including an "Excellence" in sports writing at the JEA National Convention. She promises to strive to do her best with coverage of all Prosper events and students. Ana plans to double major in journalism and business. You can usually find her on the sidelines with a camera.

Christi Norris, Chief Operating Officer and Editor of Multimedia

Christi Norris was born in Colorado, but for most of her life, she's called Seattle, Washington, home. She moved to Prosper in the summer of 2019 and has loved it ever since. Christi is a senior who is passionate about photography, podcasting and writing. She is excited to fill the role of Chief Operating Officer and Editor of Multimedia for the 2021-2022 school year and can't wait to help other journalists grow and achieve their goals. In her spare time, you can often find her working at a plant shop, reading books or watching movies. Christi will be attending Brigham Young University this summer and majoring in communications.
