Gomez, who began playing ping pong at an early age, founded the Prosper High School Ping Pong Club in 2015. The club provides many students with the opportunity to make new friends, develop their skills in the sport and have an after school activity to look forward to each week.

With ribbons lining the hallway, the school honors Red Ribbon Week Oct. 26 through Oct. 29. Red Ribbon week was created to spread drug abuse awareness, and provide tools for prevention. Student council has created dress up days for this week to promote awareness.
