At the Prosper town hall, theatre officers from PHS, RHHS and WGHS stand with Fine Arts Director Tim Doyle and Mayor David Bristol after Theatre in Our Schools was proclaimed Feb. 27. TIOS is a national campaign to promote and spread awareness about the benefits of theatre education. Theatre in Our Schools Month is important because it raises awareness about the value of theatre education in schools, junior Annabelle Nugent said. It emphasizes the positive impact performing arts on students, promoting creativity, collaboration, and individuality.
