To show support to local and national police officers, Children’s Health Stadium is lit blue. The stadium will be lit blue for the majority of September as a reminder of all the good that police officers do for the community. Not only is the PISD stadium being lit blue but several businesses and families are lighting their houses and buildings blue to show their support of men and women in uniform.

Prosper ISD event calendar
The numbers and percentages of COVID-19 cases are updated and recorded on the PISD instruction plan
Students who eat in classrooms should remain six feet away from others until they are finished
To level down from an honors or AP class, students should turn in the request to drop an advanced academic class form to their counselor
The counseling department has requested that students fill out the google form that is intended to clarify student needs

Upcoming

Students have a four-day Labor Day weekend, and do not have school Friday, Sept. 4 or Monday, Sept. 7
Student athletes will receive tickets to attend a meeting Sept. 2
The PISD school board will meet for a “special” meeting Sept. 4
Tennis will compete in a scrimmage against Plano East at the PHS tennis courts Sept 8
Eagle Nation News will air their first episode of the 2020-2021 year Sept. 11. All episodes will be streamed on Eagle Nation Online

Grace Williamson is the 2020-2021 Editor-in-Chief of Eagle Nation Online. This is her third year on the school newspaper, and she was previously the 2019-2020 sports editor. She plans to strengthen the newspaper as a team, and help promote brilliant reporting and coverage this year. Following graduation, she plans to major in criminal justice at a currently undecided college. Gianna Galante, Reporter

Gianna Galante is currently a senior at Prosper High School. This is her third year on the ENO staff and she is excited to take pictures and write for the site. Outside of ENO, Gianna is in Eagle Nation News and Eagle Production Group.

Neena Sidhu, Chief Operating Officer

Neena Sidhu is a senior at Prosper High School and is the Chief Operating Officer for Eagle Nation Online. Before she moved to Prosper in 2018, she lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there her whole life. This is her third year on staff and is also involved in the Football Operations Department.
