Behind the bright lights in a mask, Lifetouch portrait photographer Kristen Jones prepares for the next wave of students to come get their yearbook photo taken. COVID-19 changed procedures for picture day, which was held for those participating in in-person learning Thursday and Friday, Aug. 13 and 14, during social studies classes. “We have had to drastically change the way we do things,” Jones said. “Like in the past we could help fix you hair or adjust your necklace, but now we have to remain distanced and can’t help the students.”
