1.What did you do before Prosper and/or teaching

“I taught for 15 years in Celina, Texas just seven miles north. Before I taught I went to school and had little odd jobs here and there just to pay for school.”

2. What’s the craziest thing that has happened while teaching or in your past career?

“I had a student who hid in an air vent for about five minutes to be funny once.”

3. Favorite part about teaching?

“Really connecting with my students and building those relationships. It’s really great to get those invitations later where it’s like they’re inviting you to their wedding or a baby shower or something. Just because you realize you had an impact in their life.”

4. Goal for yourself and your students this year?

“My goals for the students is to get a great foundation in Spanish and to get to love the language so they can really get to learn it. Also to get to know and build relationships with the people of Prosper. Pretty much just to have a good year.”
