Elizabeth Dzvonick joined the school to teach Spanish this year.

1. What did you do before Prosper and/or teaching?

“I was living in Shreveport, Louisiana for 15 years. I taught there for 10 years, and before teaching, I was learning English.”

2. What’s the craziest thing that has happened while teaching or in your past career?

“One time I had a student that by mistake he stabbed himself with a pencil, and he was bleeding and on his way out he left a trail of blood.”

3. Favorite part about teaching?

“The students.”

4. Goal for yourself and your students this year? 

“For my students, it is to want them to learn a second language, the culture, and to be excited about it. For me, it is to succeed as a teacher.”
