In the PHS arena, senior Ayden Ames commits to UT Austin for D1 Volleyball on Signing Day. Ames switched her commitment from University of Nebraska to UT. The PHS Volleyball team qualified for the UIL State tournament.

The team will face Allen High School on Tuesday Nov. 7. Ames decommitted from Nebraska University and committed to University of Texas.

In front of the fire station sign, Prosper Police Department Chief Doug Kowalski, junior Christina Krasnova, senior Parker Reynolds, junior Isabel Multer, senior Riley McConnell, Fire Department Assistant Chief Shaw Eft and Fire Department Chief Stuart Blasingame finish off the training hosted at the Childrens Health Stadium. Reporters from ENN and ENO got to attend the training for Prosper PD, FD, FBI, PISD and others. A slideshow and story will publish on the specifics of the mock event.

At the game against Mckinney Boyd High School, seniors Gretchen Teigen and Charlotte Walley stand on the sideline of the field dressed for the Pink Out theme. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Student Council honored PHS staff who overcame breast cancer by giving them gift baskets during the pep rally on Oct. 13.

Holding up their awards, senior Jasmine Brown, sophomore Madison Koepp, sophomore Calista Swick, senior Parker Reynolds, senior Kross Nickerson, senior Coleman Meier, junior Isabel Multer, sophomore William Norris, senior Landry Long, sophomore Colton Boston, freshman Dylan Mize, sophomore Nuala Adams, junior Bradston Swick, junior Christina Krasnova, and freshman Mark Carbajal celebrate ENO and its sister journalism program ENN. The teams went to San Antonio for the Fall Fiesta journalism convention. ENO received fourth place in online news.

Holding trophies, seniors Maxwell McCleary, Lauren Stein Maiya Oyakawa, Arjun Chati and junior Elianna Barger celebrate winning first place. The Prosper Marching Band placed first at the Plano East Marching Invitational held on Sept. 30. This year their band show name is Deep in the Heart of Texas.

In their Talonettes uniforms, sophomores Abigail McGregor and Katie Lynn stand with the band at the Rockwall football game. McGregor and Lynn sit and play with the band during the game but perform with the Talonettes during halftime. The Prosper football team lost this non-district matchup, 47-41.

Introducing himself, announcer Eric Manto  opens Meet the Eagles. Manto is the announcer for PISD games and events at the Childrens Health Stadium. This week will be the first football game against Euless Trinity.

After being introduced, sophomore Keira Williams, freshman Sienna Acuff, freshman Avery Ringger, freshman Daya Saravanan, junior Adam Chong, senior Eli McWard, senior Jaeda Crabtree, junior Caroline Manning, sophomore Alanys Aviles Barbosa and senior Nolan Heimbuch take a waterpolo team group picture. The team had just come from playing at the Keller tournament. Many of the same seniors and members were reintroduced after walking with the swim and dive team.

Hands raised in front of their faces, juniors Juliana Cruz and Samiya King check the contrast of their skin tones against their suits for a project for their American Sign Language class. The class requires distinct clothing, in order for people to comprehend hand signs. Students at Prosper are able to take the ASL course up to four levels.
