In the PHS arena, winter and spring sports will be introduced at Meet the Eagles. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 8, and will begin at 6 p.m. Athletes from the baseball, wrestling, track, powerlifting, softball, basketball, golf and soccer teams will be introduced.

Microphone in hand, senior James Kim interviews someone on the streets of Seattle. On Our Minds, like many other podcasts, allows Kim the opportunity to interview outside voices. Kim met with the podcast On Our Minds team in Seattle, and began production. I never realized that it could be such a creative outlet for me, Kim said. I remember growing up I was really into theater or  choir and going into high school I started letting go of that. And so its cool to revive that part of me, and just have that creative side of me always functioning throughout the week.

At the Prosper vs. Rockhill game on Jan. 2, head basketball coach Scott Imes performs a speech on sophomore and teammate Jaxson Little. Facing his teammates and coaches, senior Ellis Davis announces his position in the All-American team. Now, he has committed to Texas Tech for college football. I still can’t believe that I’ll be playing in the All-American game. I would like to say thank you to my coaches, team, and family for helping me earn that spot, Davis said. Just saying, Prosper Football is different — I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today if I went somewhere else. Our coaches put countless hours into us, during and after the season.
