The audio/video trifecta of Eagle Nation News (ENN), PHS The Talon radio and Eagle Production Group (EPG) brought home multiple awards from the 2023 Student Television Network Conference. Before her competition, Yuktha Pemmasani – like other candidates – gets ready to present her campaign posters. The theme of my campaign was the main thing (that) stood out from everyone else, Pemmasani said. I chose a bachelor theme, which was really outside of the box. District 7 is one of the largest DECA districts in the US, so Pemmasani faced challenges in leading the constantly growing district. Pemmasani has already put thought into her plan for District 7 next year.

Following the awards ceremony of the Winter Guard International (WGI) Tulsa competition, JV and varsity winter guard members take a group photo with their trophies. Teams performed their shows in the competition on March 4, with both trams advancing to finals. The JV placed 3rd in Scholastic Regional A and varsity placed 10th in Scholastic A. With instruments in hand, the Rushing Concert Band 1 performed their UIL pieces. The middle school Pre-UIL Competition was hosted at Prosper High School. I think we did great, seventh grader Giulianna Galante said. This practice was great, and allowed us to prepare for the real thing.

On Jan. 12, the first episode of the show Velma was released on HBO Max. The show had 10 episodes in season 1, received many mixed reviews, and still has a high chance for a second season. I didnt originally plan to watch the show, but curiosity got the better of me, Brooke Murphree said. I was shocked watching the first episode alone.
