In sharing a photo by junior photographer Morgan Reese, junior Karolina Rubio posts this shot on her Instagram, including this shot. “I want to give a huge shoutout and thanks to Morgan Reese for taking these pictures of me,” Rubio wrote in her Instagram caption. “If y’all need professional pictures go hit her up.” The photo also placed in the Texas Association of Journalism Educators Fall Fiesta competition in the portrait category. Reese’s work scored a superior rating, the highest given in the contest.

Texas Association of Journalism Educator’s Fall Fiesta contest held its annual Fall Fiesta convention and contests in virtual form this year. Students from around the state, including junior photographer Morgan Reese, entered work. Reese photographed junior Karolina Rubio and submitted her work in the portrait category. The photo claimed a “superior,” – the highest-ranking applicable.

Morgan Reese was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Prosper in 2018. She is a junior and this is her second year as a staff member for Eagle Nation Online. In her free time, she enjoys photography, reading and playing guitar. After high school, she plans to become a teacher or a photojournalist for a large publication. She hopes to become a better photojournalist and express her passions through her work on Eagle Nation Online.

Caleb Audia is currently a junior at Prosper High School and works as a reporter for Eagle Nation Online. His most widely-viewed publications include: "Feline friendship, Instagram allows family to help soldier," which he was awarded 'Best of SNO' with co-writer Amanda Hare, and "Junior overcomes dancing accident, bone transplant," which was also awarded 'Best of SNO' with co-writer Christi Norris. Caleb is apart of the Varsity PHS Swim Team and hopes to fly for American Airlines shortly out of High School.
