With ribbons lining the hallway, the school honors Red Ribbon Week Oct. 26 through Oct. 29. Red Ribbon week was created to spread drug abuse awareness, and provide tools for prevention. Student council has created dress up days for this week to promote awareness.

  • To campaign for drug-abuse prevention, Red Ribbon Week takes place Oct. 26 through Oct. 29.
  • The blood drive will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26.
  • Volleyball will compete away against Guyer High School at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
  • The swim team will meet at the PISD Natatorium to compete against Memorial Oct. 28.
  • Eagle Nation News will play on Oct. 28 at 10:21 a.m.
  • The second pep rally will occur Oct. 29 in the arena. Sophomores and seniors will be released for the pep rally by the drumline starting at 3:17 p.m.
  • There is no school for students Oct. 30, and teachers will have a professional learning day.
  • The football team will play against Denton Guyer at the Children’s Health Stadium Oct. 30.
  • Volleyball plays at the home arena against Allen High School Oct. 30.
  • Cross country will run in their district competition at Myers Park Oct. 31.
