Senior families gather outside stadium to watch slideshow
Families watch a senior slideshow from outside the Children’s Health Stadium Wednesday night, April 15. Last week in the “Two-Minute Drill,” superintendent Drew Watkins announced that every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. the jumbotron would showcase every seniors’ yearbook picture. “The slideshow shows that even though we’re going through the pandemic, the community will always gather to show off spirit especially to the seniors right now,” senior Marisa Telles said.

She has received several recognitions and awards for her writing, including an "Excellence" in sports writing at the JEA National Convention.
