  • Band members pose for photographer Emily Reish during one of their water breaks. The Mighty Eagle Band practiced at Children's Health on Saturday Aug. 24. They will perform on Friday night during half-time.

  • Shaq Callejas marches to his next cued spot during practice. The Mighty Eagle band was introduced at Meet the Eagles. They will have their first performance alongside color guard on Friday night.

  • Brooke Miller joined by fellow members work on their set of the show. They practice everyday for football games and competition season. Recently they performed at Meet the Eagles.

  • Drum Major Kylie Haaz conducts the band along side being a flute player. The band watches her for counts and when to stop playing. On Saturday Aug. 24 they practiced at the newly-opened Children's Health Stadium.

  • Christy Escobar, Avryl Colon-Perez, Emma Hutchinson, Kennedy Taylor, Alivia Didonato, Kayla Burch, and Maddie Gleason all group together and talk during a quick water break before heading back to the field for more reps. The girls are part of the Mighty Eagle Band's color guard. They will perform Friday Aug. 17 during the half-time show of Prosper vs. Rowlett's home opener.

  • Drumline practices their drum solo Tuesday, Aug. 20. The team performs at pep rallies, band competitions and football games. They will perform during halftime at the first home game of the season, Aug. 30.

  • Percussion director Mr. Sneider helps Jonah Leonard, Jonathan Sicard and Brayden Haslam get the beat down to one of their pieces. The team practices Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to perfect their performance. The students will put on a half-time show on Aug. 30 at the Prosper vs. Rowlett game.

  • Color guard members Caleb Beaty and Giselle Garcia work on their jumps during the show. The band directors have decided to not have props this year. Instead they are adding more dances and flag movements. The color guard will perform alongside the band on Friday night at Prosper's football home opener.
